The province of Ancona, partner leader of the European project Info - C.O.O.P (Information and Cultural Opportunities of Old People), organized the conclusive Info – Coop Convention on Friday, 27 November 2009, at the Sala del Rettorato in Ancona. The speakers discussed the following subjects: the potential of an IT training device such as the E-learning platform to help adults (but not only adults) with their daily activities by means of the offer of suitable and continuous IT training, in particular the Internet (withdrawal of cash money, use of current accounts, e-mail, skype, web-cams, etc, information requests and documents from public and private entities). Moreover space has been allocated to the subject of the new training paths realized in the territory of Fabriano, of the prospects of Education for Adults in Europe, in Italy and in the Marche Region and opportunities for Over 65’s. The presence at the event of Public Administrators (the President of the Province, Provincial Assessors, the Mayor of Ancona, the Regional Assessor and the Municipal Assessor of Fabriano), represented by the Minister of Public Education, the University, Unieda, European Union and Incra, is a representation of the sensitivity the Institutions have towards this subject.
